Mayville Man Waives Preliminary Hearing On Child Porn Charges

A 45-year-old Mayville man accused of possession child pornography has been bound over for trial. Marlon Kegel waived his rights to a preliminary hearing in Dodge County Court this week.  He allegedly had the images on laptops, hard drives, thumb drives, cell phones and floppy discs. At first Kegel told investigators that he never downloaded images of children but then, but then admitted it. He is facing ten felony charges. He will be arraigned next month.
