Mayville Police Chief Search Will Continue

The City of Mayville will continue its search for a new police chief. Interim Police Chief Ryan Vossekuil rejected a contract offer from the City Council. The 15 year veteran was named interim Chief when former Police Chief Chris MacNeill resigned amidst wrongdoing allegations last March. The Police and Fire Commission will search for another applicant for Chief. Vossekuil was offered the Chief’s job three weeks ago.
