Mercury Marine gets Export Achievement Award

Fond du Lac’s Mercury Marine is one of three Wisconsin companies recognized recently by Governor Tony Evers for their exporting efforts of their products.

The award, called the Governor’s Export Achievement Award, is given to Wisconsin businesses for their success in growing exports and advancing the state’s reputation in international markets.

Mercury Marine, founded in 1939, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of marine engines and produces a wide range of products for recreational, commercial, and government marine applications, most notably outboard motors, sterndrives, and inboard engines.

When presented with the recognition, President John Buelow said that the company is honored by the award and are committed to continuing to grow in the state and strengthen their global presence by delivering innovative, high-quality marine products that showcase the talent and craftsmanship of their Wisconsin workforce.
