Mercury Marine Opening A Museum In FDL

products have collected items that will be featured in the museum. Mercury’s
history began in Cedarburg in 1939 when Mercury founder Carl Kiekhaefer
purchased a bankrupt engine manufacturing plant. The move to

showcase some of that history. He says a lot of people in the
Mercury over the years and it would be nice if the museum became a destination
point. Mercury’s actual 75th anniversary is Wednesday. Fleming says Mercury
employees worldwide will be treated to lunch, one of the many activities
planned for the year-long celebration.
