Merrill Man Arrested For 6th OWI Near Fond du Lac

A Merrill man is now facing his 6^th OWI offense following a traffic stop just outside of Fond du Lac. 58-year old Michael T. Norman was taken into custody by the Wisconsin State Patrol at 5:15 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop in the southbound lane of I-41 near Lost Arrow Rd. 

Norman was operating a 2008 Dodge Ram when another driver reported Norman’s vehicle was deviating from the lane on a regular basis. Troopers pulled Norman over, where he exhibited signs of impairment, and following a field sobriety test, he was arrested. Norman was booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of OWI and operating while revoked.
