Michels, Johnson and Evers Stop In Fond du Lac To Campaign Friday
Members from both sides of the political fence kicked off what they are calling bus tours Friday, October 28, 2022 with less than 2 weeks before the mid-term elections.
Governor Tony Evers stopped by the Democratic Party Headquarters of Fond du Lac around 10 AM to speak to a crowd of about 35.
Evers was joined by Lieutenant Governor nominee Sara Rodriguez, and Attorney General Josh Kaul, who is running for re-election against Fond du Lac District Attorney Eric Toney.
Evers stated he would bring tax cuts for the middle class and more funding for the education system.
US Senator Ron Johnson also made a stop in Fond du Lac taking advantage of the beautiful weather and talked outside of the Republican Party Headquarters of Fond du Lac on Macy Street.
Johnson used his time in front of the 50-60 person crowd to talk about the differences in plans between him and his opponent Mandella Barnes. Talking about how the democratic party has failed America over the last 2 years.
Johnson was joined by Republican Attorney General nominee Eric Toney, candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly Jerry O’Conner, Wisconsin State Senator Dan Feyen and Republican Nominee for Governor Tim Michels. Michels also took the microphone and used the time to do some campaigning.
The mid term elections are November 8th
