Milk Truck Crashes Into Home On Hwy. 45
A milk truck operator swerved to miss a deer and ended up driving his truck into a home.
The incident occurred Tuesday evening just before 7:15 p.m., on Hwy. 45, just south and east of Eden.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office; along with the Eden Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance were dispatched to W2710 USH 45 for reports of a milk truck that crashed into a house.
The initial investigation indicates that a northbound truck on USH 45, driven by a 35-year-old Hilbert man served to miss a deer, drove into the east ditch and as he attempted to reenter the roadway drove across both lanes of traffic, striking a house on the west side of the roadway. A 41-year-old Eden man inside the residence was not injured.
Assisting at the scene were; the Wisconsin State Patrol, Whealons’s Towing, Lakeview Electric, and S&S Mechanical.
