Milwaukee Picked to Host 2020 Democratic National Convention

Milwaukee will host the Democratic National Convention
next year. The Democratic National Committee announced Milwaukee will host the
2020 convention on Monday – choosing It over Miami and Houston. Wisconsin is a
key battleground state that Donald Trump won by a razor thin margin in 2016. The
Dems’ convention is set for mid-July of next year, while Republicans will
gather in Charlotte, North Carolina in late August of 2020. The selection makes
Milwaukee one of the smallest cities ever to host a national political convention.
