Milwaukee woman arrested in Dodge County stalking case

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday, May 7, 2025, they have made an arrest after investigating threats made toward employees of the Waupun Correctional Institution and other people associated with the institution.
The sheriff’s office says multiple victims received hundreds of communications in the form of calls, texts, and emails that were both threatening and harassing in nature. The threats caused disruptions to operations at Waupun Correctional Institution, and law enforcement was needed to increase its presence near victims’ homes.
Investigation into the communications led authorities to a residence in the City of Milwaukee where, on Monday, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Milwaukee Police Department Tactical Enforcement Unit and the Milwaukee Police Department Special Investigations Division, in the execution of a search warrant.
As a result of the warrant, detectives located electronic communication devices that provided evidence of the criminal activity. As a result, 32-year-old Trina Brown of Milwaukee was arrested.
Brown is facing two charges of Stalking, three counts of Unlawful Phone Use – Threaten w/ Obscenity, and Bail Jumping.
According to court records Brown has a history of this type of activity as she has an open case in Columbia County, charged there with Unlawful Phone Use-Threatening Harm.
She is due back in Dodge County court June 12th for a Preliminary hearing.
