“Mini Masterpieces” needed for Fond du Lac Public Library’s Tiny Art Contest

The Fond du Lac Public Library is announcing its new Tiny Art Contest.
Artists of all ages are invited to submit their best work on a 4-inch-by-4-inch canvas by April 29 for a chance to win a prize. Artist can use their own canvas or the library will have a limited number of free canvases available.
Pieces can be turned in at the Help Desk on the first floor of the Main Library from April 22 to April 29. The library says any art medium may be used to create the work, other than food or perishables.
Winners will be selected in four age categories: 0-5 , 6-12, 13-18 and 19+. Prizes issued in each category include Best in Show and Library Staff Choice.
Those needing supplies to create the artwork are encouraged to stop by the Idea Studio to use library supplies during regular Idea Studio hours which are Monday through Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
All pieces turned in will go on display in the Langdon Divers Community Gallery in the library from May 1 to June 4.
