Minocqua Brewing Company owner to file lawsuit against Republicans, Trump and Wisconsin Elections Commission

The owner of the Minocqua Brewing Company filed a complaint on Thursday, with the Wisconsin Elections Commission with the goal of keeping former President Trump off
Wisconsin’s 2024 presidential ballot.

After being notified only hours later that the commission wouldn’t even consider his complaint, brewery owner Kirk Bangstad changed his aggression to then include not only Trump, but the Wisconsin Elections Commission and the Republican Party of Wisconsin.

Bangstad is now filing a lawsuit against all three establishments.

He posted on his Facebook page Thursday that he expects this to be a large battle, and asked if any attorneys were willing to join his team. Bangstad also asked his followers for donations to help with legal fees.

While some of his followers said they donated, others said there is no way that the US Supreme Court will uphold any smaller courts decision to keep Trump off state ballots and that donated funds could be better spent.

Bangstad expects the lawsuit to be filed early next week.
