Minor Injuries Reported in Town of Taycheedah Rollover Crash

A 16-year-old
from the Fond du Lac area received minor injuries in a rollover crash this
(Saturday) morning in the Town of Taycheedah. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s
Office responded to the crash on Highway 151 near Brookhaven Beach Road around
6:47 AM. Investigators found the 16-year-old was driving south on Highway 151,
when his vehicle left the road, hit a driveway embankment and rolled over. The
vehicle sustained “severe damage” in the crash. The Sheriff’s Office says the
fact the 16-year-old was wearing his seat belt reduced the severity of the
injuries he received. Deputies were assisted on scene by Mount Calvary Ambulance
and the Town of Calumet Fire Department and First Responders.
