Minor Injuries Sustained As Go Kart Strikes Vehicle

It’s a case of a go-kart gone wild. Fond du Lac Police were called out to the Fondy Skateboard Park on N. Hickory St., just past 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night, where callers reported kids were driving around the parking lot on a homemade go kart, when they hit a parked vehicle. Witnesses said one child was injured in the accident, and when officers arrived, they found an 11-year old and a 15-year old on the property, with the 11-year old suffering minor injuries to his leg. He was taken to the hospital by his mother, but no further details were given as to the extent of the injuries.
