Miss Wisconsin Teen announced… Miss Wisconsin to be crowned Saturday, June 20

On Friday evening, Meredith Rosemurgy, a 16-year-old from Madison, swept the title of Miss Wisconsin’s Teen 2026 among a field of 23 contestants representing their communities across the state.

Competing as Miss Madison’s Teen, Rosemurgy receives $9,000 in scholarships along with other gifts and awards, including the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss America’s Teen 2027.

For the talent phase of competition, Rosemurgy performed a ballet routine to “Paint It Black”. She is a pre-professional ballerina and student athlete, running track. Her Community Service Initiative is The Ballet Bridge: Creating Accessibility Within The Arts. Through her initiative, Rosemurgy is dedicated to increasing accessibility within the dance community.

Through partnerships with organizations such as Milwaukee Ballet Academy and individual sponsorships she works to connect dancers with critical resources. Her mission is to ensure every dancer has the opportunity to pursue their passion, regardless of financial circumstances.

As a contestant who is new to the Miss America Opportunity, Rosemurgy also won the Rookie Talent Award, Overall Talent Award and the Overall Evening Gown Award.

Miss Wisconsin Organization Executive Director, Meghan DeMore, had this to say about Rosemurgy, “We are thrilled to welcome Meredith as our Miss Wisconsin’s Teen 2026. In her very first year with the Miss Wisconsin’s Teen program, Meredith has already demonstrated grace, poise, and a genuine heart for service. She has shown that she will be a wonderful representative of our organization and we look forward to supporting her as she embarks on this exciting journey and inspires people across Wisconsin.”


Rounding out Top 5 honors were the following contestants:
● First Runner-up, Miss Cherryland’s Teen, Elise Jackson, Forestville, $1,000 Scholarship.
● Second Runner-up, Miss Rock River Valley’s Teen, Elioenai Samuel, Menomonee Falls, $700 Scholarship.
● Third Runner-up, Miss Centralia’s Teen, Ruby Marti, Wisconsin Rapids, $600 Scholarship.
● Fourth Runner-up, Miss South Central’s Teen, Maliah Miller, Beloit, $500 Scholarship.
Semi-finalists in the top ten will receive a $200 scholarship.

The top ten included: Miss Lakeshore’s Teen, Carly Doome; Miss Southeast Wisconsin’s Teen,Taylor Antony; Miss Turtle Creek’s Teen, Jade Hooper; Miss Northern Lights’ Teen, Havah Fleisner and Miss Harbor Cities’ Teen, Olivia Saftig.

All non-finalists receive $100, plus additional ancillary awards and scholarships were announced.

Total scholarships awarded to this year’s contestants in the 2026 Miss Wisconsin’s Teen Competition total over $14,000, plus more than $43,000 in scholarships are being awarded to contestants in the Miss Wisconsin Competition.
