Missing 12-year-Old Girl Found Safe

A 12-year-old girl that had been missing in the Fond du
Lac area since last night has been found safe. Fond du Lac Police say
12-year-old Donaja Reed was located and is safe. A media release this (Wednesday)
afternoon says investigators had been in contact with her, and no further
information was being released. Reed was reported missing Tuesday night after
last being seen at the Fond du Lac Fairgrounds Aquatic Center. She reportedly
left the fairgrounds area prior to her mother picking her up.

The police department is thanking the public for sharing
the girl’s photo on social media and providing tips in the case. Thanks were
also sent to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin Statewide
Intelligence Center and Wisconsin Department of Justice for their assistance in
the case.
