Missing endangered man wanted for domestic abuse found and in custody

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says they have a man in custody following an investigation into a domestic abuse incident yesterday.

Initially the sheriff’s office put out a plea to the public to keep an eye out for the man who left the Town of Beaver Dam scene. The search for him was due to concern for his welfare because of the extreme cold weather and having left the location on foot.

He was found shortly after 9:00 a.m., uninjured and taken into custody.

The sheriff’s office says they will be pursuing charges against 40-year-old Jeramie Hurley including

Felony False Imprisonment, Felony Intimidation of a Victim, Misdemeanor Battery and Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. They say all charges will have domestic abuse penalty enhancers.
