Mittens with a Mission

The Home Builders Association of Fond du Lac & Dodge Counties will be collecting new and gently used mittens in all shapes in sizes this holiday season, as well as used wool sweaters that contain 80% to 100% wool.  The sweaters will be boiled and recycled into new mittens, all of which will be distributed to needy children and families in Fond du Lac and Dodge Counties.  ‘Mittens with a Mission’ will run from December 2 through December 23.  If you would like to make a donation, the following Home Builders Association members are drop-off sites:  Cowles Henke Kemmel Insurance (Brownsville and Oakfield), FloorQuest (62. N. Rolling Meadows Drive), Galaxy Lighting (165 W. Division Street, Fond du Lac), Associated Bank (888 S. Main Street), Huberty & Associates (145 S. Marr St.), US Bank (55 Main Street), Aubrey Electric (405 S. Milwaukee St., Theresa), and CitizensFirst Credit Union (740 W. Johnson St. and 1045 E. Johnson St.).  You may also drop off your donation at the Home Builders Association office located at 490 W.
