Moped driver injured in crash

Fond du Lac County officials responded to a injury crash early Saturday morning, May 30, 2026.

Just before 5 a.m., A 25-year-old man called the Fond du Lac County Communications Center to say they had crashed on a moped and they were having trouble remembering things, and they think they hit their head.

The driver stated they weren’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash occurred near the address of w5757 Lost Arrow Road, between Highway 41 and Highway 175.

Oakfield first responders and City of Fond du Lac Ambulance responded to the scene as well as Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies.

ThedaStar medical helicopter was initially paged but was told to disregard after further patient evaluation.

No other info is known about this crash.
