More Road Construction Set To Start Monday In FDL

With fewer cars on local roads right now, the timing is pretty good if you have to close some lanes of traffic. Such is the case this week in Fond du Lac. The City of FDL Engineering and Traffic Division has announced some traffic restrictions for the upcoming week. Included are:

Johnson Street – Wilson Ave to National Ave – The eastbound traffic lane on Johnson Street between Wilson Ave and National will be restricted to one lane of starting Monday, April 20. The traffic lane restriction will be place for three days while crews complete utility repairs. The traffic lane is scheduled to re-open Thursday, April 24.

Macy Street – South of Rees Street – Macy Street south of Rees Street will be closed to through traffic Tuesday, April 21. The closure is anticipated for one day and should re-open to traffic Wednesday, April 22. The closure will be in place to allow the N Main Street Contractor to make utility connections at the intersection of Macy Street and Merrill Avenue.
