Motorcyclist evades capture after 3 high speed pursuits

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office tried three different times to stop a motorcyclist Sunday, May 3, 2026, going northbound on I-41 at a high rate of speed.

Around 8 p.m. a deputy started to pursue a black motorcycle near County Highway B. By lost Arrow, the deputy terminated the pursuit due to the dangerous speed the motorcycle driver was doing..

Another deputy saw the driver exit onto Hickory Street southbound. When the officer attempted to stop the driver, they took off again northbound on I-41.

Approaching Johnson Street, the motorcycle was observed doing close to 140 mph, causing the deputy to again terminate the pursuit.

Then a third deputy saw the vehicle still northbound at 130 mph north of Winnebago Street. That officer saw the driver exit onto County N and head eastbound.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the driver. They say if the driver is caught, they will face 3 separate eluding police charges.
