Names Released In Fatal FDL Accident

Authorities have released the names of those involved in the fatal traffic accident that occurred early Tuesday morning in Fond du Lac. The accident injured four people , and took the life of 21-year old Jonathan K Bruemmer of Fond du Lac. The driver of the vehicle, 28-year old David G. Worley, was transported to Theda Clark in Neenah with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday morning (9/15/20) at the corner of Johnson and Main in Fond du Lac.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol investigators, and video of the accident that has been released, the vehicle being driven by a Worley, was traveling at a high rate of speed while traveling north on Main St., and ran a red light, striking a Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue ambulance. The driver of the ambulance, Paul M. Wilson and his co-worker, Brian J. Winter, were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The passenger in the ambulance, 76-year old Michael E. Bliss, was being transported in the ambulance at the time, and also received non-life threatening injuries.
