National fireworks convention returning once again to Fox Valley

The Pyrotechnics Guild International convention will again return to Wisconsin this summer, and event organizers have announced three community focused activities associated with the upcoming Festival: Ignite The Night fireworks event.

The convention will run August 8–14 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, with public firework displays on the nights of the 8th, 12th and 14th.

The three public events announced are a public safety training in which the Pyrotechnics Guild International has invited more than 70 fire and safety professionals from jurisdictions across the country to a two-day fireworks safety training course.

The convention will also host a blood drive, working with The Community Blood Center.

And lastly, the organization will be providing 50 packs of tickets for the Wednesday fireworks display to local charities, clubs, churches, and benevolent organizations with deeply discounted prices, allowing organizations to resell at list price for fundraising capabilities.
