Natural Beauty Council Awards Given Out
The Natural Beauty Council presented their annual Beautification Awards during Tuesday night’s County Board meeting. Overall ten awards were given out. Among the winners was Agnesian HealthCare for their Meditation Garden and Angel of Hope Memorial and Healing Garden and Legacy Circle. Allen Chantelois and Brenda Hill who own a historic home at 294 E. Division Street in Fond du Lac. Dynamic Chiropractic and Wellness Center at 952 S. Park Avenue in Fond du Lac was another winner. Michael and Teressa Keenan were recognized for their historic home at 275 E. Division Street in Fond du Lac. The Knights of Columbus Hall on Fond du Lac Avenue in Fond du Lac was honored for improvements they’ve made including a landscaping patio. The Malone Area Heritage Museum on County Highway W in Malone was honored. Redeemer Lutheran Church and School on Forest Avenue in Fond du Lac was recognized for the work they’ve done to improve their facilities and grounds since 2013. The Rienzi Cemetery on County Road K was honored for its improvements and educational walking tours. The Taycheedah Town Hall on Kiekhaefer Parkway was recognized. The final announced winner was Fond du Lac County for its Veterans Memorial and Park on Main Street in Fond du Lac.
