Natural Gas Leak At Construction Site In FDL

Fond du Lac firefighters responded to a report of a natural gas leak Thursday afternoon in the area of South Hickory and West Rolling Meadows Drive. A construction company working on the new Love’s Travel Stop & Country Stores struck a natural gas line service. The area was evacuated and Rolling Meadows Drive was closed until it was safe. Alliant Energy clamped off the leak. There were no injuries. The Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with traffic control. The incident was reported at 2:06 p.m. Fond du Lac Fire Department photo.
