NEB Foundation Presents Check To ADVOCAP

On Friday James Chatterton, National Exchange Bank Foundation Board Member, presented a $100,000 check to Mike Bonertz, Executive Director of ADVOCAP in Fond du Lac. ADVOCAP has a long history of “creating opportunities for people and communities to reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency.” With the donation from the National Exchange Bank Foundation, Advocap will be able to fill gaps in funding for the human services industry in our community. The funds will be used for staffing, training programs, ADVOCAP Head Start classroom security and emergency readiness. Bonertz says, “Together we are making a difference in poverty at the local level through programs such as financial literacy training and helping individuals and families manage their resources. We would not be able to provide these programs without generous gifts from our donors.” The National Exchange Bank Foundation is a charitable foundation focused on providing resources to improve communities.
