New Dodge County Sheriff

Governor Scott Walker has appointed a new sheriff in Dodge County. Walker announced Friday his selection of Sheriff’s Lt. Patricia Ninmann. Ninmann was one of two finalists for the position. The other was retired Dodge County Sheriff’s Detective Robert Newman. Ninmann began her career as a communications officer at the Beaver Dam Police Department. She moved to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department and became a sergeant in 2003. From 2005 to 2012 she worked as Director of Communications for the Sheriff’s Office and also began work as a Deputy Jail Administrator. In February of last year she was promoted to Lieutenant. Ninmann will fill the term that Sheriff Todd Nehls retired from last month. It runs through the end of next year.
