New Holstein Teen Suffers Serious Injuries In Rollover Accident

One person was airlifted to Thedacare Regional Medical Center following a one-vehicle rollover accident Wednesday evening.

The FDL County Sheriff’s Department was called out at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday to Calmar Rd. between Hwy. Q and Zellner Rd. near Malone. Preliminary investigation showed a 16-year old female driver from New Holstein was headed east on Calmar at a high rate of speed and lost control, with the vehicle leaving the road and striking multiple trees along the ditch line, finally coming to rest on its roof. The driver was treated at the scene and then airlifted with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
