New Look For Historic Downtown FDL Building

An iconic downtown Fond du Lac building taking on a new look in the next couple of months.

What had been the home to Ziggy’s Pub for almost a decade will now become Lighthouse Wine Bar and Bistro.

The building, located at 213 S. Main St., was also home to Arbuckle’s Saloon for decades.

Tony Mand, owner of the building, told KFIZ News they hope to be open at the end of March or early April, and he and his staff are excited for the next new chapter to start in the building.

Mand was in front of the Downtown Architectural Review Board Tuesday (2/1/2022) where he presented new projecting sign and exterior lighting plans. New awnings and exterior paint plans were approved back in January.

The historic building was built back in 1890 and is part of the South Main Street Historic District.

Mand closed down Ziggy’s Pub back on April 16, 2021.
