New rock music festival announced for Oshkosh area

The creators of the annual music fest Xroads 41 have announced a new, one day music festival taking place this summer at the Xroads 41 venue off south Washburn Street on the southwest side of Oshkosh, between the exits of Highway 44 and Highway 26 of Interstate 41.

On Monday, March 23, 2026, the Xroads 41 organization announced Xroads 41 Hard Drive – The Rock Detour.

A website for the event says “This isn’t just a concert. It’s a full-throttle detonation. Introducing XRoads41 Hard Drive Music Festival – the Rock Detour of Wisconsin’s Premier Music Festival – bringing the most electrifying rock show of the year to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on August 9, 2026. Built for volume, grit, and no-holds-barred energy, this is where world-class rock acts hit harder, play louder, and leave nothing behind. Feel the ground shake, the amps roar, and the crowd surge as every set pushes the limit. Produced by the team at Oshkosh Festivals, LLC, this is more than a show—it’s a hard-hitting experience you’ll feel long after the last note fades.”

The website says a line-up for the event will be announced April 13. KFIZ will bring you an update to the festival when the bands performing are announced.
