New Years holiday closings for City of Fond du Lac government organizations

A reminder of Fond du Lac City government office closings this New Years holiday… City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed Wednesday January 1st.

garbage normally collected on Wednesday will be collected on Thursday January 2nd, one day late, along with the normal Thursday collection. It’s asked to have your garbage set out by 5:00 am on Thursday to accommodate the additional collections. Recycling collection, performed by Waste Management, will be collected one day late for all Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday customers.

Fond du Lac Area Transit will not operate on January 1st.

The Senior Center will close at noon on December 31st and will be closed all day January 1st.

And the Fond du Lac Public Library will close at 4:00pm on December 31st and be closed all day on January 1st.
