NFDL Village Administrator Retiring
The Village of North Fond du Lac will be looking for a new Village Administrator next year. In January Chuck Hornung will mark his 10th year as the Village Administrator and he plans to retire in July. He will remain active in his retirement. He would like to be elected to the Village Board, but is focusing now on finding a replacement for himself. The Village Board will look at several options for replacing Hornung including interviewing other municipalities to see how they went about hiring others in similar positions. Hornung says they have tried search firms in the past, but that has not always worked out well. Before becoming North Fond du Lac Village Administrator he worked at Giddings & Lewis in Fond du Lac for 35 years.
