No Construction Date Yet For Meijer Store But Work Still Being Done At Site

There’s been no definitive starting date for construction of a new Meijer store, which is set to be built at the site of the former Forest Mall in Fond du Lac. Despite that, work will be done on the new entrance to the property, beginning Monday, July 12.

Sarah Harbridge, with the City of Fond du Lac Engineering and Traffic Division, issued a press release Friday afternoon, stating a private contractor will be constructing a new entrance on the property, which will prohibit a left turn from the eastbound lane. In addition, the northern westbound land will be closed from Peters Ave. to Panera Bread, located at 771 W. Johnson St.
