No New COVID Hospitalizations For 3rd Day In A Row In FDL County
The COVID-19 numbers keep rolling along in Fond du Lac County, with 119 new confirmed cases reported on Thursday. That brings the county total to 3,339. An additional 73 active cases raises that count to over one thousand. There were 46 more cases listed as recovered, and no new hospitalizations for the 3rd day in a row. With 153 negative tests reported on Thursday, the county has now seen a total of 26,644 since the start of the pandemic. Statewide, Wisconsin broke another record for the second time in three days. A total of 3,747 new cases were reported on Thursday, topping Tuesday’s record by almost 500 cases. DHS did process over 15,000 tests in the past twenty four hours, the most in one day since October 8. Nearly twenty five percent of the total tests were reported as positive, taking the seven day average to an all-time high of 21.9 percent.
