No Shortage Of Road Work For Upcoming Week
Summer in Wisconsin means road construction, and there’s no shortage of it in Fond du Lac County. A number of projects to be aware of starting on Monday, including a stretch of southbound I-41 from County D to Hickory St. Work there will be done daily next week Monday (6/22) through Friday (6/26) between 6 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., as crews will be repairing pavement. The right lane of I-41 will be closed during repairs.
Maintenance crews will also be repairing culvert pipe on Hwy. 23 at the intersection of Hwy. 44. That work will begin Tuesday (6/23) and finish up Thursday (6/25) and you are asked to slow down and pay attention to the flagging instructions in that area.
The $4.1 million Hwy. 67 resurfacing project gets underway Monday(6/22), with pavement being cut this upcoming week along with existing curb and gutter being removed. Beginning Wednesday (6/24) Hwy. 67 will be closed between Hwy. 45 and County B for approximately 12 days. That project is expected to be completed by October.
