North Fond du Lac robotics team qualifies for world championships

Tech-No Logic, a robotics team from Bessie Allen Middle School in North Fond du Lac, has qualified for the 2026 VEX V5 Robotics World Championship tournament in St. Louis.

The team, consisting of eighth grade students Ryan Fedyszyn, Bentlee Kollmann, Spencer Rapp, and Jacob Stanchfield, qualified for this event after placing amongst the top teams at the Wisconsin VEX Middle School Championships on March 6-7 in Green Bay.

They also were awarded the Think Award at this event, an honor that recognizes high achievement in programming and engineering.

“I am extremely proud of what these students have accomplished and am grateful for the positive example they set for the rest of our program,” North Fond du Lac VEX V5 Robotics Advisor Aaron Novak said. “This achievement reflects the tremendous dedication, teamwork, and perseverance they have shown throughout the season.”

Mike Rapp, the parent mentor for the team, agrees. “I’m really proud of the team and what they have accomplished. The progress they made throughout the year was tremendous and their perseverance and not being hesitant to learn new ideas was awesome to watch.”

The middle school portion of the VEX V5 Robotics World Championship tournament will be held April 25-27 at the America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis.
