Northern WI Man Charged With Child Sexual Assault

A northern Wisconsin man is charged with child sexual assault while serving as a pastor.

Attorney General Josh Kaul and Douglas County District Attorney Mark Fruehauf announced the charges against 61-year-old Jeffrey Anthony Charles of Danbury, which stem from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Clergy and Faith Leader Abuse Initiative.

According to a press release, the incidents occurred between 2005-2010 and involved repeated assaults of a child when the victim was between the ages of 3 and 7 years old, occurring while Charles was pastor of Neighbors to Nations Church in Princeton, Minnesota.
