Anastine “Annie” Isaac
Anastine “Annie” Isaac, 94 of Rosendale, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Tower View Assisted Living in Rosendale on April 6, 2023. She was born on December 31, 1928, daughter of the late Anton and Mildred (Schmitz) Loehr.
Annie was Salutatorian of her graduating class at Rosendale High School. She married the love of her life, Robert Isaac, on October 25, 1947. They raised their seven children on the Isaac family farm in Eldorado, which they owned and operated.
Annie loved playing cards and cherished family gatherings. She was an active member of the Eldorado and Rosendale Historical Societies. Annie and Bob were active in their community. In 2005, they were honored as Grand Marshals of the Eldorado Lion’s/Firemen’s parade. They were lifelong members of Our Risen Saviour Catholic Church – Woodhull.
Annie is survived by seven children Mary Beth (John) Jaeger of Eldorado, WI, Barbara (Jeff) Knapp of Dumfries, VA, Patricia (Richard) Krueger of Fond du Lac, WI, Thomas (Sharon) Isaac of Germantown, WI, Jerome (Sandy) Isaac of Eldorado, WI, Joseph (Lori) Isaac of Eldorado, WI and Kathleen (Steven) Synowka of Samaria, MI, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews and friends.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband Robert, sister Monica Freismuth and brother Daniel Loehr.
Annie’s family invite friends and relatives to Zacherl Funeral Home on Monday, April 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again to Our Risen Saviour Catholic Church, Woodhull, on Tuesday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation at 12:15 p.m. Annie will be laid to rest in Our Risen Saviour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be given in Annie’s name to Tower View Assisted Living Piano Fund.
