Audrey M. Beahm

Audrey M. Beahm, 92, of North Fond du Lac, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born in Tomahawk, Wis., on June 10, 1930, a daughter of William and Oris (White) Schmidt. Audrey graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1949. She married John Beahm on June 9, 1951, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rhinelander. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2008.

Audrey was always helping others throughout her life. She liked going out to eat, drinking black coffee, walking, riding her bike, puzzles, playing scratch-off’s, going to casinos, and traveling. Audrey liked to be on the go! “Whatever.” She was a long-time member of Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac and the bereavement committee. Audrey waitressed during her early years. Later she raised pheasants and worked in the North Fond du Lac school district for 48 years.

Survivors include her four children, Zita Kelling (Mike Traunter), Jeff Beahm (Donna Gerard), George “Packy” Beahm (Maxine Neas), and Nancy (David) Schumacher; six grandchildren, Jason LaVine, Becky Beahm (Ben Killian), Jonathan Beahm (Deana Omland), Vicky (Matt) Heimann, Stacy Schumacher, and Joel Schumacher (Kellie Diels); ten great-grandchildren, MaKayla Moncada, Alisa and Payten Schneider, Audrey and Claire Beahm, Dylan and Brooke Heimann, Kailee Diels, and Charlotte and Maddox Schumacher; and a half-sister, Billie Rae Tomlinson of Las Vegas, Nev. Audrey is further survived by four nieces, Michelle (Dave) Hines, Pam (Steve) Winchell, Debbie (Kingsley) Hogan, and Dana (Mike) Bassett; a nephew, Scott Damon; and special friends, Charlene Kibbe (Don), Colleen Dobbs, Vivian Gyr, Tanya Moncada, Mary Beahm, Sandy Beahm, Dianne and Mike Syms, Kim Giese, Debbie Borkenhagen, Cindy Krenn, and Craig Kelling.

In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was preceded in death by her stepfather, Oscar Winquist; siblings, Clarence (Judy) Schmidt and Dona (Francis) Damon; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Beahm; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and her pets, Sassy, Rambo, and Missy.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 705 Michigan Ave. in North Fond du Lac with visitation at church beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery will follow the service.
