Barbara S. Berg

Barbara S. Berg, 86, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Hospice Home of Hope on April 25, 2025. She was born on December 8, 1938 in Fond du Lac to William J. and Verla G. Gores.

Barbara was known for her overwhelming kindness and infectious laugh. She was a caring, loving wife to John Berg for 67 years, a proud mother to her children, and a beloved grandmother and great grandmother. She was involved in many community activities throughout her life including Roundtable, mobile meals, volunteering at St. Mary’s grade school, Girl Scouts, and much more.

Barbara will be dearly missed by her husband John Berg; children Judy (David) Twohig, Richard (Jean) Berg, Michael (Nancy) Berg Sr., Jane Berg, Lawrence (Tina) Berg; grandchildren Laura Wanlass, Molly Westbrook, Nicholas Twohig, Kimberly Gaddie, Christie Weinberg, Jennifer Ludwigson, Michael Berg Jr., Ragan Berg, and John “JJ” Berg; great grandchildren Kyra Wanlass, Michael Westbrook, Alexa Westbrook, Kaden Twohig, Mason Twohig, Finn Twohig, Nels Ludwigson, and Olive Ludwigson. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

SERVICES: Barbara’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in St. Charles Cemetery following the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hospice Home of Hope.
