Bethany Rose Ballwanz

Bethany Rose Ballwanz, 37, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, April 10, 2026 at her residence. She was born December 28, 1988 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Robert and Deborah (Smith) Ballwanz. Bethany graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2007. She worked as a CNA at St. Francis Home. She enjoyed being up north in the woods, bonfires, and snowmobiling.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Deb Ballwanz; siblings, Brittany Ballwanz and Brennan Ballwanz; paternal grandma, Lorraine Ballwanz; aunts and uncles, Karen (Mike) Boede, Dale (Rosa) Smith, and Lori (Paul) Obrecht; her fur baby, Nelson; cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Don and Joyce Smith; paternal grandpa, Robert Ballwanz, Sr.; godmother, Barb Ballwanz; aunt and uncle, Sandy (John) Bebow; and her fur baby, Jane.

The visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Fond du Lac, Humaine Society in Bethany’s name.
