Carl L. Siebert

Carl L. Siebert, age 78, of Chilton, died on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at The Bay at Northridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.  He was born September 25, 1942 in Green Bay, son of the late Lorenz William & Susan Julia (Treichel) Siebert.  He attended grade school at Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Reedsville High School in 1960.  He later attended Milton College where he graduated in 1964 with a degree in business.

It was at this time that he married Larelda Gill on July 18, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church in Wayside. 

He was employed at Briess Industries and following his retirement after 37 years, Carl volunteered for 17 years as the Manager at Shepherd’s Attic in Chilton. 

Carl was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton where he had served as President of the Congregation as well as volunteering with other committees and activities.  He was a 48 year member of the Chilton Kiwanis Club and volunteered as President of the Board for the Chilton Public Library.  He was known for his extensive beer can collection, and was extremely proud to have amassed over 2,000 cans to his collection.  

Survivors include his wife of 57 years: Larelda; his son: Daniel Siebert; a daughter: Pamela (Jeffrey Klotz) Siebert; and a sister: Nancy (Bernie) Boushka.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son: James Daniel Siebert.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Martin Lutheran Church (717 Memorial Drive) in Chilton with Rev. Thomas Schmitt officiating.  Entombment will be in the Nicolet Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Friends may call at the St. Martin Lutheran Church from 9:00 am until 11:30 am  on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
