Christine F. Hansen

In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 15, 2024, our dear sister, Christine (Chris) went to her heavenly home.

Chris was born on January 16, 1959, to the late Marvin and Waneta (nee Popham) Hansen, along with her twin sister Charlene, in West Bend, Wisconsin. After graduating from Campbellsport High School, Chris joined the Army, but was discharged due to a medical condition. She settled in South Carolina, where she was a self – employed painter and worked in other retail positions.

In 2004 Chris moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family and settled into her current home in Fond du Lac.

Chris was a lover of nature and flowers. She had a wonderful green thumb. Her family was everything to her, especially her twin Charlene and her younger sister Candy.

The other loves of her life were her cats Sky and Zues who passed before her. Her current boy Alaska misses her terribly.

Chris worked at Walmart for 10 years in several departments, her favorite being the garden center. She made many good friends there.

Chris is survived by her sisters, Cynthia A. Miller of Green Bay, WI, Cheri L. Hansen of N. Fond du Lac, WI, Charlene R. (Richard) Buddenhagen of West Bend, WI, and Candace “Candy” J. Hansen of Campbellsport, WI; brother, Cory D. Hansen (Linda Espinosa) of Beaver Dam, WI; sister in-law, Bonnie J. Hansen; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to Chris’s parents, she is preceded in death by her twin sisters, Jean and Joan; brother, Craig M. Hansen; nephews, Jean Neu and Adam Hansen; Candy’s Significant other, Marv Cribb.

Chris will be missed always and loved forever by her family. Per her wishes, no funeral services are planned.

Twohig Funeral and Cremation Service has been entrusted with Chris’s arrangements. Additional information can be found at www.twohigfunerals.com.
