David W. Malingowski

David W. Malingowski, 82, was welcomed by the Lord on October 29, 2023. David was born on November 14, 1940, Walter and Gladys (Ulik) Malingowski in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

David graduated from Riverside Highschool in Milwaukee, class of 1958.

David married Dorothy Freeman on June 24, 1961 at St. Albert’s Parish in Milwaukee. Together, they shared more than 62 years.

David was a member of the US National Guard.

Daivd started his working career in Milwaukee at Gugler Lithographic Company. They moved to Cedarburg where he worked for Phillip Lithographic Company. He retired in November of 2000 and moved to Fond du Lac.

Throughout David’s life he spent much of his time enjoying the outdoors; fishing, hunting and golfing. Most of all, he loved being with his family. David was also member of the Knight of Columbus.

David is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy; daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Phil) Moses; son, Craig Malingowski; grandchildren, Matthew (Maggie) and Katie (Tyler); and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jerry Malingowski.

David’s family and friends will greet relatives and friends for a time of visitation on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 12:00 PM.
