Deborah “Deb” Ann Boehrig

Deborah “Deb” Ann Boehrig, 66, passed away on April 3, 2024. She was born in Fond du Lac January 25, 1958 to Dennis and Elizabeth (Koenig) Boehrig.

Deb graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Academy. Deb was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of NAMI, The Aquatic Center and Holy Family Parish.

Deb enjoyed stamped cross stitch, needlepoint, painting, latch hook, and listening to her favorite music. She loved spending time with her family, volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul, and praying for all those around her.

Special gratitude to Everest Brooks and Joline Brotzman for helping Deb navigate her mental health challenges for so many years.

Gratitude goes to all those who met Deb and showed her love and kindness throughout her life. Though struggling everyday with Schizophrenia, Deb was a warm and loving person who always put others before herself and was generous with whatever she had. If she wasn’t at the aquatic center, YMCA, or at Holy Family Church, you could find her working on her latest needlepoint or stamped cross stitch project. She loved creating special art pieces and giving those to friends and family to enjoy. Deb faithfully carried her cross throughout her life and we are so grateful that she is able to now lay it down at her Saviors feet and is free.

Deb is survived by Levi Boehrig (son), Ashley Boehrig (daughter-in-law), Isaac Boehrig, Clara Boehrig (grandson & granddaughter), Betty Boehrig (mother), Tim & Ellen Boehrig (brother and sister-in-law), Dominique, Gabrielle and Bryce Boehrig (nieces and nephew) and other relatives. She was preceded in death by Jeff Boehrig (brother), Dennis Boehrig (Father) Walter & Lucille Koenig, Katie & Glenn “Earl” Boehrig (Grandparents).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to: NAMI of WI (namiwisconsin.org), Holy Family Parish (hffdl.org), or the Fond du Lac Aquatic Center (https://www.fdl.wi.gov/parks/pools-aquatics/).
