Delbert George Birschbach
Delbert
George Birschbach, 84, a resident of
passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015.
He was born
February 22, 1931 in
a son of the late Alois and Olive Heimerl Birschbach.
On June 4,
1955 he married Valeria Rose Muellenbach at
Catholic Church,
Delbert
attended Grade School in
delivered milk for S. and R. Cheese of
and later was employed by Ruepping Leather Company. He and Valeria were engaged
in farming most of their married life in the town of
Equipment. Delbert was a member of Holy Family Parish.
Survivors
include his two sons, Ken (Diane) Birschbach and Michael Birschbach, all of
Fond du Lac, five daughters, Debra Sarauer, Darlene (Bob) Sarauer, all of Fond
du Lac, Nancy Birschbach of St. Cloud, Sharon (Bill) Thern of Fond du Lac, and
Sandy Brodnax of Fond du Lac, nine grandchildren, Kevin (Valerie) Birschbach,
Christine Birschbach and Pamela Zempel, Randall (Erin) Sarauer, and Jeffrey
(special friend, Amanda) Sarauer, Derek (Alecia) Sarauer, Carissa Snider,
Austin Snider, and Katelyn Brodnax, two step-grandchildren, Kristina Hettenhaus
and Scott Thern, and by eight great-grandchildren, Brendan, Aaron, Kenleigh,
Toni, Caden, Reece, Liam, and Troy. He is further survived by a brother-in-law
Joseph Muellenbach of
two sisters-in-law, Mary (David) McCarthy of Placida, FL, and Linda Mullenbach
of
and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was
preceded in death by his wife Valeria; an infant daughter, Mary Jane; and
brother, Jerome Birschbach.
Visitation:
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral Home,
to 7:00 PM. There will also be visitation at the funeral home on Monday, May 11th,
from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
Services: A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 11, 2015, 10:00 AM at
St. Mary’s Church, Holy Family Parish,
Burial will follow in the
Charles
