Dennis Immel

Dennis Immel, 58, of Eden passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, December 21, 2020. Dennis was born in Fond du Lac on November 23, 1962, the son of Dan and the late Pat Immel. On March 26, 1988, he married Barb Baumhardt at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden.

Dennis drove truck for Twin Lakes Transit in Eden and then was self employed working for Martin Machinery. Due to health concerns, he took an early retirement. He was an active Volunteer Fireman and First Responder for Eden, served on the Village Board and was a member of Eden Lions Club and Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church. There was nothing more that he loved than being with and spending time with his family. They meant the world to him.

Dennis will be missed by his wife Barb, children Becky (Josh) Haese, Ashley (special friend Cody) Immel and Amber (Jackson) Buss, grandchildren Natalie and Bennett, step grandson Peter, father Dan Immel, sister Lori (Mike) Ryan, brother Randy (Kim) Immel, mother-in-law Annie Baumhardt, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Steve and Carol Baumhardt, Dave and Karen Baumhardt, Rod and Mary Baumhardt, and Patti and Nick Mueller, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; also his beloved boys Fluke and Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his mom Pat, father-in-law Maurice Baumhardt and grandparents Florence and Clarence Immel and Violet and Martin Hamburg.

Private family service with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 28th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of The Hills Parish, W1562 County Road B Eden, WI 53019. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden.
