She married the love of her life Oliver Krueger on June 3, 1950, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. They shared 32 joyous years of marriage, raising their five children until Oliver’s passing in 1982.

After Oliver’s passing, she moved to Manitowoc and then Fond du Lac. She volunteered her time and knowledge at her churches and other local organizations.
She was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Braves, Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed listening to Bob Uecker’s play by play and going to games in Milwaukee with our family. She enjoyed supporting Ollie and his teammates as they played baseball for the Theresa Pioneers and other community sporting events.
Dorothy loved tending flowers, walking dogs and visiting neighbors. She loved to bake, especially potato torte and trying new recipes. She had fond memories of her upbringing and the history of Theresa.
