Edward C. Lund Jr.
Edward C. Lund Jr., 75, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on January 8, 1948, in Siren , WI, the son of Edward C. and Gladys M. (Orr) Lund Sr. He was a 1966 graduate of Lomira High School. He was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout and played football his freshman year. On April 1, 1967, he married Judith A. Schuh, at St. Mary’s Church in Lomira. Early in his marriage he enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing. Edward was lifelong fan of NASCAR, the Redskins, and all things train. He liked to camp and travel with his family. Edward was dedicated to his children and grandchildren.
He was survived by his wife, Judy; four children; Melinda (Carlos) Castillo, Christine (James) Wulff, Tammy (Tom) Limberg, and Eugene (Joelle) Lund; grandchildren, Eddie, Charlie, and Danny Castillo, Anthony (Heather) Wulff, Katelyn (Cody) Schweiger, Elizabeth (Wes Kane) Wulff, David (Amanda) Limberg, Cassandra (Adam) Loose, Corey (Lilly Koehler) Limberg, Megan (Joseph) Boje, Mackenzie (Curtis) Labadie, Maddy (Konner Lefebvre) Lund, Brennan (Emily Siech) Lund, Aaron and Autumn Lund; great grandchildren, Ella, Dalton, Emmett, Paxton, and Quinton Limberg, baby Wulff, and baby Loose; brother, George (Sharon) Lund; sisters, Sandy (Ed) Berger and Karen Seichter; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Robert) Kienbaum, Patricia (Steve Noworatzky) Langley, Carol (Gary) Schwefel, and Sandy (Mark) Neils; two godchildren, Kristopher (Kim) Healy and Kelly Jo (Chris) Moore; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gladys; father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Wanda Schuh; daughter, Rebecca A. Lund; sister, Sharon Forgue, brothers-in-law, Eugene Schuh Jr., Patrick Healy, Neil Langley, and Dick Seichter.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held this summer at a later date.
