Edward “Ed” J. LeFeber
Edward “Ed” J. LeFeber, 84, died Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born May 17, 1940 in Fond du Lac, the son of Edward and Nellie (Schomish) LeFeber. He graduated from Chilton High School, Class of 1958. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam War.
In December of 1967, he married Mary J. Koenigs in Armstrong, WI. In 1968, he and Mary moved to Southern California and lived there until 1994. Ed worked as a Commodities Broker and he wrote a nationwide newsletter for his firm.
In 1994, he and Mary moved to Irving, TX and continued as a broker and financial analyst until he retired. Ed enjoyed baseball, traveling, helping on the farm in the spring, and continuing involvement in stock commodities.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary; his sister, Karen (Dave) Schneiderhan; sister-in-law, Mary Michels LeFeber; his wife’s siblings, Bob (Aileen) Koenigs, Carol McCrory; Pete Koenigs, Jen (Bill) Kuhn, Steve (Linda) Koenigs, Phyllis (Joe) Simon, Sandy Halbach, and Dale (Cheryl) Koenigs; sister-in-law, Ann Koenigs; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Mike LeFeber; his in laws, Michael and Matilda Koenigs; brothers-in-law, Jerry Koenigs and Bill Koenigs; and sister-in-law, Pat Koenigs.
The visitation will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
