Elaine Margaret (Morrill) Beck

Our dear mother, Elaine Margaret (Morrill) Beck sadly passed away on February 8, 2024 at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation in Fond du Lac, WI at the age of 89. Elaine Margaret Morrill was born August 10, 1934 in Moon, WI to the late George Sr. and Lena (Karnofsky) Morrill. Elaine was married to the late Richard Beck in 1959 in Appleton, WI. The couple was later divorced.

Elaine is survived by three daughters: Stephanie (Andrew) Bures, Stacey (Rick) Boily, and Stanya (Dean) LeMay. Seven grandchildren: Jessica (Andrew) Aho, Kevin (Jessica) Boily, Nicholas (Amanda) Bures, Brandon Beck, Emily (Nicholas) Gagnon, Nathan (Kyra) Boily, Jacob (fiancé Rachel) Bures. Eight great-grandchildren: Elcy, Madeline and Cecilia Bures, Rafael Gagnon; Rachel, Clare, Trevor Boily and Brayden Boily.

Besides her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by a son, Steven, three daughters: Susan, Jacklyn and Julie, and 12 brothers and sisters: Evelyn, Edward, Harry, Frank, Howard, Floyd, Arthur, Arnold, Lilian, Leeta, Helen and George.

Elaine graduated from the St. Mary’s School of Nursing as a registered nurse and worked in her field for 54 years. Elaine used her nursing skill working in hospitals, nursing homes, home health and hospice. She loved sewing, crocheting, reading and visiting family. Elaine spent her last five years at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation where she became part of that family. She was known for singing, being sociable and always being a part of the activities.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Zacherl Funeral Home in Fond Du Lac, vigil service will be held at 3:30 pm at the funeral home. Elaine will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery in Mosinee in a private ceremony.

The family would like to thank the staff at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation for the love and care they provided our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Any memorial donations will be given to Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation Activity Department.
